Diamond Silver Big League Aluminum Umpire Mask with Leather

Much lighter than my old mask and looks better. I switched the pads to Team Wendy pads and when I took a direct hit with a foul ball, I realized that the pad change was a good choice. My only drawback is Diamond masks are a little small on my face.

This mask is super lightweight. I will be changing the harness though.

I love the weight of this umpire mask. Paired with a bump cap, it provides plenty of protection. Compared to my older mask, I feel like it is less restricting visualizing the K zone.

Mask is exceptionally light and fairly well constructed. But as one person said, the pads are a bit high and my glasses get fogged up with my breath. Perhaps something to address, no matter how many adjustments I make.

I like it's light and the leather, but the jury is still out on the Diamond Silver Umpire Mask. I wear glasses and the chin pads are too high on either side bumping my glasses. Because of that I haven't felt comfortable wearing it with any adjustment I've made yet.

Recently picked this umpire mask up to replace one that came in a starter kit. Man oh man...what a mask! I tried several other masks, but this one fit me the best. It is lightweight, has great sight lines and the leather pads are comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

This umpire mask is great!! I counted 15 masks I've had through the years and this is by far the best. Excellent protection and you can't even tell you have it on. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new umpire mask!!

The padding is too large. Gets in the way of removing the mask. Mask is VERY light weight, which is what I wanted.

Fabulous umpire mask! Lightweight! Neck didn’t hurt after 6 games in one day like it does with Rawlings mask. I recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love this umpire mask, very pleased I decided to buy it. The mask is lightweight and the soft leather has a great feel to it. I like the slight frame bend in the mask by the chin pad. Makes it very easy for me to grab and remove.

Purchased this umpire mask a few weeks ago to call travel ball. Had a heavier mask that I was wearing calling high school games before the COVID shutdown. It worked ok just calling 1 game behind the plate a night, but it was heavy! After wearing this mask a couple of weeks and calling 4-5 games in a row behind the plate, my neck thanks me. No more sore neck, took a couple of foul balls off the mask with no problems. Pads still a little stiff from being new is the only reason for 4 stars, not 5. For the sale price can't beat it!!

I had to replace my iX3 mask after having it for about 5 yrs. I got the big league which I like a lot. The only downfall is the pads are too stiff for me. Took a couple shots and I could feel it. But not that bad. I would recommend this mask and it's cheap too.

This helmet is super comfortable and lightweight. It looks very good and takes hits like a champ. You can't beat this price, ranks right up there with the best masks.

Great umpire face mask! Very light, very durable, and very well made. I have taken several foul balls off the face cage and had amazing shock support. The lightweight feel of the mask makes it feel like I am hardly wearing it. I would definitely recommend this mask!

Great umpire mask, very lightweight and seems as durable as I have found. I tried the pads that came with the mask and they seemed huge and obstructed my view. However when I combined this mask with my Team Wendy pads it became perfect.

Light weight but mighty and strong. No sore neck at the end of the night and clear sight lines set this mask apart from all others. I have both silver and black models in my arsenal.

Awesome umpire mask!! I tried a Force3 V2 Defender and without a doubt prefer this mask. It is so lightweight and comfortable. I can barely tell I have it on. The sight-lines are excellent...feel like I can see everything. The matte silver frame also makes for a less obstructed-feeling view. The value for what you pay is second to none in my mind. I've already taken a few straight in the mask and haven't felt a thing...and you can't tell by looking at the mask that it's been touched.

This umpire mask is lightweight, and yet offers superb protection. Extremely happy with this purchase, and I expect it may be the last mask I'll need to buy. I've been using it for 7 months now, and have no regrets.

Got this umpire mask the beginning of this year and absolutely love it. It is lightweight and I like how the leather pads fit my face. Took a foul ball straight to the mask yesterday and didn't feel a thing.

This umpire mask has treated me well and I purchased this one as a backup mask. It's a lightweight mask that has provided great protection. With two of these masks, the only thing I can see replacing is the pads as I think this mask will last a long time.

Great mask. I have one and got this one for my son. Lightweight, good visibility. I recently replaced my pads with the Team Wendy product, and love those as well.

Ump-Attire.com was dead on in it's overview of this mask. Super lightweight, sturdy and gives plenty of coverage. I don't anticipate needing another mask. This one is legit.

Man, oh Man is this mask light! It is a pleasure to wear due to the weight. Has taken some getting use to, how to remove so my hat doesn't come with it. The edges of padding is rather angular so that seems to cause it to hang up on my hat. Would be nice if they rounded the edges of padding to help with this. But the pads are soft and pliable and with extended use I have figured out how to remove it. I really like this mask and am enjoying using it.

This is the third year using this umpire mask. I spent the extra money over the iX3 because of the extra padding. I work mid level rec up to high school games. Even with the extra thick padding it is still lightweight and does a great job absorbing the hits. My only issue is because they are all leather, the pads need to be replaced now. It would be nice if Diamond made pads for these with micro-fiber that would reduce the sweat factor and feel more comfortable wearing during those hot games.

I really like this mask, very lightweight and comfortable. The only thing I do not like about it and I think it is a major thing the cheek pads tend to ride up the mask above the eye bar and obscures some peripheral vision making some down and away calls difficult to make. If the pads were cut 1/2 an inch lower on either side it would be a definite 5 star mask in my mind.

I was very nervous about ordering a new mask that was only on the market for a few weeks. Diamond has definitely made great improvements to this mask. A lot of reviews said on the old model that you needed to replace the pads because they were uncomfortable. The new model pads are extremely soft and can compete with Wilson's doeskin pads. Great job Diamond!!!
