Smitty Vertical Stripe Umpire Shirt - Black

These umpires shirts are great. They are not cut as big as other Smitty umpire shirts. For example, most Smitty umpire shirts run a full size bigger. These seem to be bigger, but not that much bigger. They are good quality.

Great price! Super fast delivery! The umpire shirt fits a little on the larger size, but that is ok as I can use on the bases or plate. Shirt is of above average quality. I would order again.

Great fit, they don't fade as easily as other brands, collar holds up well. Another brand I previously wore the buttons turned a maroon color...best of all great price.

I typically wear a Large shirt with my chest protector. This shirt was huge! At least a 2XL. This shirt is very thin and you can see right through it literally. Probably great for hot days, but not cold spring mornings or nights. Not quite what I was expecting from Smitty.

Nice umpire shirt. Fits well, decent material, though the collar is a bit "floppy". When wearing it, I frequently have to re-position it, something I have not noticed with my other shirts. Good shirt considering it's the most inexpensive on the market.

Love the way the sleeves fit. They are not loose but rather help show off the pipes. As with all Smitty's umpire shirts though, the collar is flimsy.

Very high quality shirt. Runs true to size for me. I would suggest a size larger to avoid to tightness and bulk over a chest protector. Only con is that the sleeves in an up size are rather long.

I love these umpire shirts. They are sized right and at a great price point.

A fantastic shirt at a great price point. Very comfortable, sleeve length is right to the elbow, and the size Large fits properly for either base or plate wear. The fabric dries very quickly, too. This is one of the best shirts in my collection. The collar could use a bit of heft or stiffening, thus the 0.5 point deduction.

Besides fitting a little snug (I usually wear a size large shirt behind the plate, so generally a size medium when working the field), I noticed the shirt has the Smitty "S" on the back just below the collar. I'm not a huge fan of logos on my uniforms and gear, but I also ordered this same shirt from another vendor. Both vendors delivered a shirt with the logo on it, despite their websites' pictures not showing a logo. Something to keep in mind when ordering.

Great looking shirts, both Polo blue and black. I'm kinda in the middle of size large and xl. XL is great for the dish but not for the bases. They do run big. Would recommend these shirts. Thanks guys

First Smitty umpire shirt. Very comfortable and cool. For me, ran a little bigger. Usually I can wear an XL behind the plate or on the bases but I'm swimming in it without a chest protector. Wish the collar had a little more structure, kind of limp and folds up more than other shirts. Recommended.

Great shirt!

It's comfortable, the fit is accurate. I wear a medium shirt normally and the medium fits over my plate gear nicely. The sleeves are a little tighter than most, which I like. The only thing I don't love is the collar is pretty floppy. I might have to iron it or something, otherwise it blows in the slightest breeze and bugs me.

I love the quality of this shirt and I have to say compared to my Majestic brand shirt, it's sport on. The only thing I've noticed is it tends to run smaller than the other Smitty shirts, so maybe size up.

Just received my shirt today that I ordered on Monday June 23 today is June 25 not even 2 whole days to get here, this is a very nice shirt breathable and lightweight looks just like the ones the pros wear. Being that it is cut for plate I dropped down to a Medium and it fits perfect, all in all good shirt good price with my $10 off coupon recommend this shirt to anyone who wants to wear what the pros wear at a cheaper price. Even though it's black, it's very comfortable to wear either in the field or plate. Looks very professional. Wish I could wear it often.
