NASO Summit Atlanta & Officiate Georgia Day Was A Peach!
Aug 4th, 2024The Sports Officiating Summit in Atlanta, Georgia presented by the National Association of Sport Officials (NASO) and Officiate Georgia Day is in the books! This Summit marks the 16th straight year of our participation. The best and brightest minds in officiating come together to discuss and plan the current and future conditions of our profession. This years theme was "Sustain Officials, Retain Officials".
Georgia Officiate Day
The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) holds the record of attendance. We wanted to make sure we showed up with our best to cover both Officiate Georgia Day and the official 3-Day NASO Summit that followed.
Hunter, Sherie and Ty were great energy as always. The 2nd year of our prize spin wheel on Officiate Georgia Day was a giant hit.
NASO Sports Officiating Summit
The NASO Summit opens doors to new markets along with ones we are already in. We get feedback on what works and what is needed for officials.
Hunter talked with Tom Tadler of USA Pickleball (above) about potential referee pants.
Jim met with Michael Horrey of NeatTucks (below) about new products in development.
We appreciate all those who stopped by our booth as well as the people of NASO, the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) who made this event such an enjoyable and overwhelming success!

Ty Unthank has been with us since 2017. He started in our order fulfillment department in our warehouse, then worked his was up to customer service specialist before landing the role as Marketing/Communications & Service Specialist in early 2020. Ty oversees our social media accounts where we have seen substantial audience, activity and engagement growth. You've probably seen him most in our library of videos on site and YouTube channel. He is a current college and high school umpire. He and Kristi (former employee) married in the summer of 2020. In August of 2022, they welcomed their first child, a daughter, Audrey to the world with much joy!
