Mizuno Ambition 3 All-Surface Black & White Low-Cut Field Shoes

I bought these on a whim because I was volunteering for the East Regional LL Juniors baseball tournament and my Smitty’s were looking rough. I put them on 35 minutes before game time and people thought I was crazy! But I tell ya, the MOST comfortable base shoes I’ve worn. They were well broken in by the end of the tournament but, game one, they fit well and felt great.

Great fitting shoes, comfortable and light. Great traction on turf and dirt for covering bases. One of the most comfortable base shoes I've worn. Not too much white on them. They look good and clean.

Great shoes. They feel wonderful on my feet while working on the field. They are holding up very well to the daily grind. I have used these shoes in softball, football and soccer.

It was time for new base shoes, for sure, especially after 11 years. I have the Mizuno plate shoes from Japan and love them, so when I saw the new V3 of the Ambition Turf, I knew it was perfect timing to try them. I love the styling, just the right amount of white. The modeled upper has a nice appearance without being flashy, and the sole has a great pattern for all surfaces. The upper feels great. The tongue has a nice cushion to it and the laces feel substantial with a little flare themselves being 2-toned. While these won't take a 'shine', kept clean (as they should), they'll look great for any official. They fit great; I have a normal width foot bordering narrow, so these were very nice for me. I can't wait to get them going in the spring! Last but not least, Ump Attire's customer service is second to none! I ordered two different shoes to see which I liked best, and with Free Returns, it made it super easy, thanks!
