How shorts and pants from the same manufacturer can be so wildly different in sizing is beyond my comprehension. There is a 4" difference between the shorts, which I love, and these pants. At this point I wouldn't even know how to advise someone buying these pants. The pants themselves are fine - good referee pants. The low rating comes from the hassle of having to return the pants and wait for the next pair, hoping they fit.
