Smitty Traditional Half-Zip Umpire Jacket - Navy and Red

Great lightweight umpire jacket. Oversized to fit over plate gear. Not a lot of warmth so if that's what you're looking for, get the thermal umpire jacket.

Only gripe is it is super hot behind the plate. It looks the part. I did size up for behind the plate and am glad I did so.

Need to go up a size if you want to wear the umpire jacket over your chest protector. The jacket color looks faded, not the best color in my opinion. Fast shipping, and excellent customer service.

This umpire jacket is well made and fits comfortably. In my opinion, this is sized for without a chest protector. I wear medium Smitty umpire shirts and can fit a chest protector under, but cannot fit this medium size jacket with a chest protector. Even though it isn't the fleece, it still kept me warm during a four hour game in 32-degree temps.

Love this umpire jacket, couldn't get my true size to fit over my hardshell chest protector. The bottom didn't fit over my shoulders with the protector on. Maybe my shoulders are too broad as most of the comments seem to be that they run big. Will try a size up to see if that slides over the protector easier.

Great umpire jacket! Does run a little big but because I need a bigger shirt for behind the plate works for me to just have one jacket.

Great fit, holds well with rain and wind without having a liner in it. Runs a tad big for the size but good for behind the plate. I'd recommend this umpire jacket to every official I know.

Even in Phoenix, we get chilly enough to need a jacket during the winter season. This jacket is fantastic, great look and feel. I did find that I had to return my Large for an XL for a better fit over the gear but the return process with Ump-Attire.com is as easy as it gets. Highly recommend.

I bought this Smitty's umpire jacket two years ago. It was a great purchase. After numerous wash cycles it still looks sharp and the color has not faded. A good investment for those colder spring and fall games. I only wish that it had a full length zipper but this design is still easier getting it on and off over my chest protector than another brand I own in black. I would buy this jacket again and so should you.
