I live in Florida. Long sleeve umpire jackets aren't comfortable during baseball season. But this jacket is perfect for night games when it's a bit chilly out. Fits perfect over my chest protector and not super big when doing bases. Perfect for what I needed.

I love the look of this umpire jacket, and it’s very versatile. When the description says to size up for plate, they aren’t lying. The Medium doesn’t even fit around my chest protector, but it is pretty big on me for the bases. Ended up buying a Large to wear for the plate too.

Great umpire jacket. It is great for that early morning game in December when the temps drop to the 50's. Not too cold, but cold enough for something heavier than your short-sleeved umpire shirt.

I am not much on wearing a short sleeve jacket but this one really took me by surprise. Great Smitty umpire jacket to have especially during tournaments and not wanting the shirt clinging to you. These jackets allow your body to breathe.

Suitable for the weather in Taiwan.

Bought my first one in 2001, it was a favorite of mine and other umpires liked it too. Works great behind the plate, lots of room in the arms. I just bought my second! Nuf said.

Sometimes a long sleeve umpire jacket is just too much but it's cool enough to need more than just a field shirt. This short-sleeve jacket keeps my body warm while allowing me to move around the field with ease.

Really nice half-sleeved umpire jacket. Heavy weight for the rain. I do think the jacket fits a little snug though. I would have ordered on size up but that's just me!
