I love this umpire jacket! However, if I wanted to wear this over my plate gear I'd need to order a size up as my normal size fits great for the bases, but is a tight fit over my chest protector. I already bought the fleece jacket to wear over the chest protector. If I need a jacket when working plate as I also prefer the full zip when putting on over the chest protector.

Awesome to wear on the field for those cold mornings or late evening games - keeps you nice and warm. I am 5'8" 177lb and found the XL is more comfortable to wear than the L. The L is more form-fitting if that is the look you are going for.

Flexible and light enough to wear behind behind the plate for a brisk night in the mid to upper 50s.

I'm 5'8" and 185 lbs with athletic build. Shirt size 16 neck and 44 chest, 34 waist. I ordered the XL and it was way too big. I returned and got the L. The L is perfect plenty of room for chest protector, semi tight on the waist band, loose enough in arms to move any direction I need. Jacket is very warm on a 45 degree 15 mph wind day.

The umpire jacket is perfect for weather in the 50's or 60's with a breeze. I preferred to have a non-lined jacket, because in South Coast California the weather is usually 65+. A wind breaker style jacket is sufficient to keep the plate Ump warm because of the heat the chest protector provides. I have used this jacket sparingly. On the bases I continue to use a long sleeve shirt and undershirt to keep warm. I am still looking for a non-lined jacket.

This umpire jacket is very comfortable to wear. They are perfect for the northwest weather in the spring season.

Bought this umpire pullover and a couple of shirts in the same size I normally wear. The shirts fit great but the pullover was cut small. I sent it back and re-ordered it one size up. It is perfect for those 40 and 50 degree evenings even with 10-15 mph winds. My biggest complaint was having to pay the $12 shipping charge twice.

Jacket is what is showed in ad. Fits correct. Would buy again.
