I have never been much of a SMITTY fan... nothing personal they just never seemed to fit me just right and always seemed a tad low quality... The new Spandex Poly Charcoal Baseball umpire pants bar none are the best looking most comfortable pants I have ever worn... they hang like a pair of $500 dress slacks and move with you... they are NOT expandable which is the biggest plus of all... buy the size you need and get rid of that adjuster tab... no more shirt tails coming out and different pieces of extra material coming out at waist. These are very, very, very nice pants... GREAT JOB ALL AROUND... one last political note...I wish they were made in USA and not Vietnam!!!
