Official Reviews
Tom S. Oxnard, CA |
Perfect size and doesn't slide around on the belt. Easy access and is stiffer than some ball bags.
John W. Rutherford, NJ |
I tried using this bag for softball. Its description of being "oversized" may be applicable for baseball, but based on my experience using it for softball, it's not oversized at all; in fact, very snug. Getting them out of the bag is difficult and at most only 2 balls actually fit inside. I wouldn't recommend it for softball.
David Z. Hamilton, OH |
Sturdy and well made.
Kent W. Charlottetown, PE |
Love the Dry Lo ball bags! Great, durable quality, and good size. Nice and snug to keep the baseballs from flying out. Great quality, with lots of thought put into it by someone who's been an umpire, and it shows.
Mike T. Farmville, NC |
Didn't know if I would need these just because they're cheaper ones online but they deff are worth the little bit extra with size and the fabric.
Coleman 1. Arizona, AZ |
Great ball bags. Oversized bags fit plate brush, writing utensils, and as many balls as you will ever have in one particular game, regardless of the level. Extra pockets inside. It also dries damp baseballs.
Tommy B. Glasgow, KY |
Love the Big Ball bags!
Jerry L. Forest City, NC |
Bags are awesome. No more sweating through the bags; the rain doesn’t soak through either! Best I’ve ever had!
Brad Houston, TX |
Great durability. Great protection from moisture. Holds 5 baseballs easily and comfortably. No issues with the opening being too small unless the bag is pulled taught over a tight belt.
Oz R. Largo, FL |
These ball bags are great. I had the problem of sweating through my regular ball bags causing difficulty keeping balls dry. These bags have definitely solved that issue.
Kim S. Lang Lang, VIC |
Both bags with/without pockets work very well. Good fit on the belt and located nicely with the plate pants belt location. Plenty of room for everything, carried 5 x balls nil problem.
James T. Morehead City, NC |
Ball bag is very well made. Agree that washing it first will loosen it up. Good product!
Emmitt T. Clinton , MT |
Used these ball bags for the 1st time working a High School Softball game and I loved them. Looks great. Will order the black ones for Baseball coming up.
Matthew M. Indian Trail, NC |
Wash and dry them one time before use and they loosen up. Best ball bags on the market!
Lee B. Kosciusko, MS |
Great product and looks good. I would recommend to take them out and stretch the pockets before a live game, pockets are tight with 3 baseballs on the inside. But all in all, great product.
Brandon Lafayette, LA |
The Force3 Dry-Lo Ball Bags are very nice but seem to need some stretching when you first get them. I had some trouble initially on the field because I took them straight out without working them open and closed to stretch them open. They loosened up after a couple innings and gave little trouble (loosened up) the second weekend of use.
Robert T. Rocky Mount, VA |
Still a great product but they made them about an inch longer. Won't order or use them again.
Darrell L B. Laurel, MD |
Hey guys, if you're looking for a great umpire ball bag this it. Easy in easy out, no fumbling to get the plate brush out. I have big hands and love the fact that I can get in and get what I need and not want to tear the bag apart to get balls or the plate brush.
Joseph P. Lynnfield, MA |
Very good product, plenty of room. My only suggestion is to work it (roll up, crunch in hands) it's very stiff when new.
Larry S. Mesquite, TX |
The ball bag easily fits 3 baseballs. It repels water and sand is easy to remove. The bags start out being stiff but they do loosen up with time. And they look more professional than others.
Paul R. Amherst, OH |
Force 3 is well made equipment. Plenty of room in this bag. Great pouch for the money... don't hesitate on buying one.
Seth S. |
Made out of strong material that should last a while. A little stiff at first and a bit difficult to remove ball, but has gotten better after some use.
Nelson D. Haleyville, AL |
Good strong material seem like they’ll last awhile. A little tight getting balls in and out until they got broke in. Stays in place good on your belt and don’t gather up like some cheaper bags. Got 1 with pockets on the inside and 1 without really like not having to dig around in the bottom of my bag to find my clicker.
Charles S. Edison, NJ |
Good in the rain.
William W. Iowa |
Feels rugged. Easy to get in and out of. Good for baseball and softball.
J.w. M. Hutchinson, KS |
Great design and quality.
Nicholas Avon, OH |
Looks great and very durable material. The opening is slightly stiff.
Michael N. Romeoville, IL |
Very high quality. Material is premium. I will be switching out my other ball bag to match.
Charles B. Lake George, NY |
Nice size.
Peter S. Calera, AL |
I was not expecting it to be so stiff. I actually love the construction of it and durability. Seems to not bunch up like softer bags.
Larry K. Encino, CA |
These umpire ball bags are too stiff, which makes it hard to put balls in and take out your brush, indicator, etc. I don't recommend these. I prefer a softer feeling bag not stiff nylon.
Chris E. Davenport, IA |
I bought one as a second to another I received just under two years ago. It's very similar but not the 'exact' size. I don't believe it will be noticeable but overall they are very good bags.
Warren K. Chapel Hill, NC |
Finally found a umpire ball bag that I can get my big hand into.
Chris D. RI |
Overall a good choice. The opening for the main pocket is a little tight for softballs, but not really a problem. Indicator pocket is a bit small for a 4-dial, but fits fine in the second bigger pocket.
John U. Waucoma, IA |
I ordered these because my state association prefers navy ball bags for softball. They're identical to the black bags I bought two years ago, and I knew I'd want the same kind. It's a little tough to get softballs out of the bag since the balls are a little bigger, but the bag will easily hold three softballs or six baseballs. I also like having the pockets inside to store my brush and indicator. One could also keep a pen and lineup cards if so desired, although I keep them in my chest pocket. They're very roomy and worth the expense for the umpire wanting the best. I highly recommend them!
Rich Y. Palm Coast, FL |
Quality is good but first day out had a softball game and ball wouldn't barely go in and was really tough to get out. Will try for baseball but would proceed with caution for softball.
Brady Y. Kansas City, KS |
Perfect.
Matt O. Elk Grove, CA |
As noted in other reviews, these ball bags were initially a little tight and made getting baseballs out somewhat difficult. I have broken them in and that is no longer an issue. The inside pockets are a bit shallow, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
Jaysun R. Georgia |
Bag is too small. I had issues getting two softballs in and out of bag. The smaller pockets inside were small as well.
Adam G. Bradner, OH |
I have used them half a dozen times. Some other reviewers mentioned that they were tight to get balls out. I have found no such problem. Preventing a 5 star review is that some of the stitching has started to come apart after minimal use.
Darrell A. , Bakersfield, Ca |
These ball bag are AWESOME! I heard them reviewed on an umpire podcast and decided to try them out. I got the ones with pockets because i prefer to keep my brush and indicator out of the bottom of the bag. I find them to be not only convenient but also sturdy and easy to clean.
Jerry T. Allen, TX |
I won't buy these again, wish I hadn't. I've worn them for 6 games. The quality is good, but ...the fabric is stiffer than i prefer making it difficult to get baseballs out, the shorter pockets make it dangerous to hold a pen - it will stick out and gouge your hand, I don't care for the look of the exposed stitching. They do hold baseballs nicely, they are solidly constructed. I was replacing similar Honig's ball bags that are starting to fade after years. I'll be replacing these.
Wesley U. Pace, FL |
Great umpire ball bags, plenty of room for balls and great with water resistance! Don't get the bags with pockets. The pockets only collect dirt.
Chris M. ACWORTH, GA |
Very sturdy construction, arrived a day earlier than expected!
Ian H. SPRINGDALE, AR |
Sturdy construction. Arrived just as described. Ready to add this one to bag!
Jeremy C. Aiken, SC |
I prefer the Force3 Dry-Lo umpire bags especially in the summertime to keep the sweat off of the baseballs! I work hard on the diamond and the Dry-Lo bags work harder than me!
Rob S. Louisiana |
I have used them in two games. They are well made, but I am not satisfied with what I find to be a small opening, making difficult to put my hand in. They will work for now, but will be looking for others at the January Clinic.
Ronald M. Fremont, CA |
I liked the older version better, but these will do.
Eric G. Pelican Rapids, MN |
These are the best umpire ball bags on the market. They look sharp and great access. They are worth the money on these hot, humid, sticky summer days!
Cary L. Lexington , KY |
They were a little too tight at first for my big hands to get in but they are starting to loosen up. They do a great job keeping the baseballs dry from sweat during the heat.
Daniel O. New Windsor, NY |
The best ball bags I've used for the price. They keep things dry and have room for plenty of baseballs. They aren't too floppy like some other brands and open far enough to comfortably grab baseballs.
Smitty Cleveland, OH |
I bought these for those hot, muggy summer days and nights when my old bags get soaked and there's no keeping the baseballs dry. I've been using them all summer, one of the hottest I can remember, and they are definitely keeping the baseballs dry. I was told that the opening was a bit tighter than the typical ball bag, but I have not noticed any difficulty getting in to grab a baseball when needed. The stitching is a bit thinner than some older versions I have seen, and the material not quite as nice, but these are still pretty nice and doing the job for which I got them. Thumbs up!
Jeffrey S. Germantown, MD |
Great ball bag. Holds 3 baseballs comfortably including plate brush.
Philippe L. Laval, QUEBEC |
Great ball bags. They are a little stiff so they do not open easily but the material used and the construction is amazing.
Nicolas H. Saint-Hubert, QUEBEC |
Tight bags, the balls are not moving around. Had to adapt a bit when reaching for a ball. Overall satisfied.
Donald D. Grove City, OH |
This design and material make grabbing the baseball so much smoother. Love the space for a brush.
Christopher C. Lake Station, IN |
I bought two of these, which as stated here previously, were really stiff out of the package. One quick wash cycle later, problem solved. These bags are BIG. I do a lot of softball, so I found the opening a bit narrow at first, took some getting used to. BUT, on the plus side of that ~ The balls don't move around as much in the bag while running out to make a call. I'd recommend buying this product.
Jim G. Hebron, MD |
Use nothing but these ball bags. Yes, the other reviews are correct....these bags are tighter than others. Once you get used to retrieving balls from this bag it becomes second nature. If your looking for a bag to keep the balls dry from perspiration, this is the bag for you. These perform to the standard publicized.
Brian P. Seymour, IN |
I don't care for these ball bags, as has been said, they're tight at the top and very difficult to get softballs out of. They're also very stiff. I used them one time. If someone wants mine they can have them.
Eric V. Rome NY |
From ball bags that I have used in the past, there is a degree of difficulty in getting baseballs in and out as quickly as I would like with this model. On a positive note there is no worry about them falling out while moving around the field.
Kevin K. Monrovia, CA |
I do not care for this ball bag. It is too tight, making it hard to get baseballs in and out.
James K. Redding , CA |
Would be better if they had a zippered interior pouch. However there don't bunch up because of the stiff fabric.
Shannon C. Decatur, MS |
Just as advertised.
Jim R. Green Brook, NJ |
Hey guys, it's sold by Ump-Attire.com so you know there good...
Nathan G. Hays, KS |
These ball bags are okay, super stiff out of the package but once they work in they are great. They look good, but the quality is average. I have worn these for 2 plate jobs and noticed one of my belt loops is starting to tear away from the bag. Ump-Attire.com is replacing so 5 stars to them. Bags 3.5 Stars.
Ben H. Saskatoon, SK |
The perfect addition to the umpire wardrobe...would recommend to anyone looking for a new ball bag or even a second one!!
Nicole F. Australia |
Very narrow opening. Very difficult to store even 2 Softball's and get them in and out of the opening. Don't recommend.
Matt S. Fredericksburg, VA |
On the navy ball bag, the stitching and material were different shades. Plus, the type of stitching looked really crooked to the eye and should be stitched tighter in my opinion. The black ball bags looks really good.
Chris B. Hammond, IN |
Now own 2 sets of navy and 2 sets of black. I really like the size. I had a Smitty XL expanding, and found it to be a tough fit for more than 4 balls. My indicator (+POS 4-wheel metal circa 2000) would not fit, and my brush was a tight fit. I also like that I can use the dry-lo to dry balls in wet conditions. By far my favorite bags I've ever used.
Frank P. Plymouth, MA |
Disappointed in this product. The opening is very small making it difficult to take a softball out of the bag without considerable effort. The bottom corners of the bag curl out and up when loaded and do not lay flat.
Chris L. Topeka, KS |
It works just as product states. The opening to the ball bag is little tight but nice and deep.
Dennis W. Lebanon, PA |
Decent bag but wonder why the bag with zipper in back is no longer available. With that I knew where my car keys were.
Kevin C. Whiteland, IN |
Plenty of room; great ball bag. Only negative (slight) is opening feels a little tight but I'm certain it will be fine once I've worn them a couple times.
Bill H. Wichita, KS |
I like the size of the bags but the belt loop area is a little wide. It causes them to bunch up when adjusting them to where they hang in the correct position.
Tom M. Lehigh Valley, PA |
Great bags, but the opening is a little snug. I have to take an extra second or two to fire a new ball back to the pitcher, but I'm sure the fumbling around will go away once I get used to them. The lining will come in handy this summer when the weather gets hot. Grab a pair - you won't regret it.
Ronald B. Concrete, WA |
Great umpire ball bag. Easily holds four baseballs and my plate brush has it's own compartment so it doesn't get lost in the bottom of the bag. Much better than the cheap nylon bag I've used in the past.
Bill G. Garner, NC |
You got to get these ball bags!!! I live in NC and called some Summer ball last year. I had two games, two days in a row at 100 degree heat and very high humidity. I used the el-cheapo ball bags and sweated thru my pants and thru the ball bags - not a dry ball. Had to have the coach hang on to them for me - very embarrassing for me. These ball bags have a sweat-proof shield. No more sweaty baseballs!!! Thanks Ump-Attire.com!!!
Mark D. Camden, DE |
Great bags - this is my first pair of the Dry-Lo and I was impressed when I took them out of the box - I see purchasing a black pair in the near future.
Michael K. Cortlandt Manor, NY |
Started using these ball bags after attending my first Jim Evans school eight or nine years ago. Well worth the money, they are my go to umpire ball bags, easily hold 5 balls, pockets for pencil or pen and line-up cards, even hold my car key. They hold up and last a long time.
Sharon S. Kalispell, MT |
Got my son these for Christmas and he loves them. Best umpire ball bags he has ever had.
Eric O. Draper, UT |
These are very sturdy ball bags. I had to turn them inside out and clip the loose threads that I kept grabbing when trying to pull things out of the pockets. Good sized bags and look great.
Ty Cobb Bothell, WA |
I had a pair of bags for 12 years that held up great and I was attached to them. Replaced them with the Dry-Lo's and they are a quality product. I really like that I can put 3 baseballs in the bag. They seemed tight at first to reach in bag but after a few games they either stretched a bit or I got use to putting my hand in them to retrieve a baseball (probably the latter). Nice bags and I really like them.
Efrain M. Weslaco, TX |
Love the size of the bags. They fit perfect on the pants. If you're a one bag umpire you can carry up to five baseballs.
Evans Illinois |
Best ball bag on the market hands down. I use these for all my games at every level. I find they are even better after washing them in the washing machine on cold because they are less stiff. Overall they are the best ball bags I have ever worn.
Jason P. Belle Plaine, MN |
Love these bags use them all the time.
Ty H. Derby , KS |
These ball bags are great! Excellent for the games in less than perfect weather, or the early morning games when there is dew on the grass. They are a nice size as well, easy to get baseballs in and out of. I use them all season rain or shine.
