Chad M. Gilbert, SC |
Best 3-2-2 indicator on the market! I now have 3, maybe 4, always need a backup! I tell every guy who asks they need this one!
Kaden R. Sealy, TX |
I have several indicators and this is by far my favorite. Fit is perfect in my hand.
Christopher C. Houghton, MI |
I've used three indicators this year, and this one is my favorite. In the month I've been using it, the numbers haven't faded. It's really easy to read, feels more resilient than the plastic ones, and I love not having strike 3 or ball 4.
Richard P. Allentown, PA |
The only indicator I will ever use.
Dominic D. House Springs, MO |
I’ve had it for 2 weeks and the numbers are already fading away to the point where you can barely see the amount of outs.
Patrick W. Edgemere, MD |
My go-to indicator. Definite yes!
Russell P. Starr, SC |
I love this as a new umpire.
Ian P. Murfreesboro, TN |
Solid indicator to use. I do recommend.
Michael C. Owings Mills, MD |
Best indicator I've ever used.
Keith E. Richfield, MN |
Small and comfortable in the hand. Easy to read. Be careful of the sun glares off the metal however.
Joey W. Benson, NC |
Easy to read and easy to use. Just have to keep up with the moisture and dust care to keep it working well.
Margaret B. Hammond, IN |
Favorite indicator.
Paul M. Roanoke, VA |
Love the metal body. Easy to use and read.
Lawrence D. Tecumseh, KS |
Only had for a short time but is working great so far. I had a plastic indicator before and this seems much more durable. Would recommend for sure.
Eric M. Bloomfield, CT |
Easy to use.
Eric H. Overland Park, KS |
Way better than my old plastic one. I can easily read it, even in dim light at dusk.
Jerry B. Ball, LA |
I got two of these. Very nice. Way better that the plastic ones.
Jason L. Salem, VA |
Awesome clicker. I really like the metal better than plastic.
Steve H. Flagstaff, AZ |
The numbers are easy to see in the evening. My go-to indicator.
Rick A. Federal Way, WA |
I actually found one of these at a field and started using it. The optic yellow is really helpful for night games - especially if the light level is not the greatest.
Milan P. West Melbourne , FL |
The dials are so hard to move my fingers got sore. Not a fan.
Justin W. Fort Polk, LA |
My go to indicator, they hold up well and feel good in your hand.
Kirk S. Eloy, AZ |
Numbers wear quick but can be easily remarked.
Brian T. Maricopa, AZ |
I love this new indicator. It took me a slight adjustment because Strike 3 and Ball 4 are not on the indicator- which makes total sense but i was not aware of that when I bought it. Fits great in the hand, and like others, I won't go back to the black plastic ones anytime soon.
Kyle H. Fort Collins, CO |
I won't return to the plastic indicators after having used this one all year. The click resistance is still there after being used in probably 50+ games and still going strong, minus the fading of the numbers which is to be expected.
Mike B. Madisonville, KY |
A good indicator and feels good in my hand. The numbers wear off really fast, which I didn't like. I purchased four of these the last time I bought them. I still have four. These really hold up well.
Scott M. Torrance, CA |
Very good indicator. I notched mine as soon as it arrived. This is the second one I purchased. Eventually, the numbers do wear out, but using a sharpie, it's easy to "rejuvenate."
Alfredo G. Los Angeles, CA |
Almost perfect. This indicator causes the sun to reflect the sun and at times blinds me momentarily. It looks like that will cease to be a problem with time once it gets scratched and won't be as reflective. The only real problem is the numbers fading as others have mentioned. I have had this for a little over a month and some of the numbers are already fading! I will be using a Sharpie to color them in as it becomes worse and will update on how that goes.
Eric P. Austin, TX |
I think it is the best indicator out there. Not having strike 3 or ball 4 on it makes you not have to work the dials as much. Love this product. Built tough too!
Walter W. Bessemer City, NC |
Easy to use and read. Low profile, so it's readable at night even if the park lights aren't very good.
Jesse S. Lebanon, MO |
This is the best indicator I have ever had. Easy to read, fits well in my hand, and great quality.
James C. Belleville, IL |
The Champro Indicator fits well in your hand and I like the 3/2/2 count and the optic yellow wheels make it easy to read.
Dave A. Redding, CA |
Very well made and it's easy to read.
Edward H. Windsor, CT |
I really like that this indicator only displays 3/2/2. I like the yellow background on the numbers as it makes it easier to see the count.
Fred K. White Lake, MI |
Great indicator. Lightweight. I love the optics on it which makes it easier for me to read. Good value and cheap enough to throw out when they wear out. I have two extras but this is the third season of using the same one.
Michael M. Hendersonville, TN |
Durable, a little stiff out of the package, but it does work after a while.
Steve S. West Fargo, ND |
Plastic indicators have better value for two reasons. First, the numbers on the steel indicator, when fully clicked into position are off-center meaning they look crooked. Secondly, in my first game, the black numbers were wearing off already! I love the feel of the steel ones, but I will be choosing plastic only for future purchases.
Jake H. Canal Fulton, OH |
My favorite indicator. Nice and sturdy, easy to read. My only problem is that after a year or so of use, the numbers fade and you will probably have to replace it. But, $10 a year for a new indicator which will last you if you don't lose it, is worth it to me. These have survived a drop; I can't say the same for the plastic ones.
Jake A. Simpsonville, SC |
Easy to grip and see, and looks better than the cheap plastic indicator. However, the black numbers can fade quite easily.
Stephen P. Gaffney, SC |
Lightweight and easy to see in all lighting conditions. Best indicator on the market.
Brian H. Mexia, TX |
Easy to use, lightweight, but durable. The best indicator on the market.
Bob W. Clearwater, FL |
Lightweight and easy to see. Black "paint" on the numbers scratches off too easy. I've had to touch them up with a black permanent marker often.
Ben Yorba Linda, CA |
This Champro 4-Dial Optic Yellow Steel Indicator is very high quality and reliable. It will last a long time.
Michael O. Lakeside, CA |
Love this indicator. I like the one less click for ball 4 or strike 3 needed before resetting back to 0. Simply, I like it. Visibility is also a positive. You would recommend.
Brian H. Endicott, NY |
Easy to use, light and half the size of the plastic ones
Virginia S. Leeds, AL |
Love my indicator. The wheels turn easy, I like the stainless steal, it's classy looking.
Joey T. Frankfort, KY |
Love this umpire indicator and won't use anything else. Easy feel and easy to read. Color scheme makes it easy to check in various weather conditions and we can get right back to playing ball.
Josh B. Aubrey, TX |
Easy to use, especially like the skip to 0 after 3 balls or 2 strikes. Wheels spin easily.
Neal P. Leander, TX |
Love the feel and easy to hold even once hands get sweaty. Steel construction means it can take a hit and not break into pieces. I love that it doesn’t have ball 4, strike 3, or out 3, since there is really no need. I will be working on replacing my other plastic indicator with these.
Jack M. Zeeland, MI |
Love the feel of the indicator. Advancing the dials are crisp and there is no worry that you added an extra ball or strike.
Michael B. Houston, TX |
Great indicator, no need for 4th ball or 3rd strike and out. Very sturdy. Mine have taken numerous hits from foul balls and keep on going.
Darrel D. Leesburg, FL |
Extremely light and easy to use. Indicator wheels turn smoothly in their sturdy frame and the count is easy to see with a brief glance. I'll never use any other indicator again, especially the plastic versions that could explode in your hand.
James T. Morehead City, NC |
Indicator is very well made. It is very sturdy and beats the cheap plastic ones.
Rob S. Ludlow, KY |
Light weight yet very durable indicator.
Christopher R. Sunderland, MD |
Appears well made and durable. Easy to read dials. However, one possible design flaw may prevent me from using it. The top edge on the front side is unfinished metal and has an edge sharp enough when taking my mask off it has scratched the finish on my masks. I wanted to “move up” to a metal indicator, however this unfortunate side effect from the exposed metal edge on the indicator will probably have me continue to use my other plastic ones.
Robert T. Harrison, AR |
This is my favorite clicker that I've ever used. This is the second one that I've bought so I'll have a backup in case I lose first one, or if I'm working with a new umpire. Great product, highly recommended!
Rick A. Glen Burnie, MD |
My favorite. Lightweight and easy to see.
Pernell L. Tifton, GA |
I love this indicator along with the ball bags and the card holder and everything else I bought.
Wayne S. Clarksville, TN |
I've always bought these, always liked them because of the light weight and visibility of the number on darker fields. However these two that I bought feel cheaper and think that their going to break. I've always lost or let someone borrow mine and don't get it back and that's why I bought these.
Meghan F. Texas |
Great 3/2/2 indicator. Lightweight.
Glenn D. Hellertown, PA |
Just switched to this from a plastic model. Love the weight and the fact that it is so thin. Big advantage is that the numbers are not recessed but right at the surface. Much easier to see during night games. Sorry I waited so long.
Robert K. Mathias, WV |
Very nice. Maybe mine is an exception, but it seems to spin a little easy for my liking. No real tactile click.
Warren S. Bowie, MD |
Great 3/2/2 indicator. The cookie really pops and the wheels are easy to spin.
Robert K. Rehoboth Beach, DE |
This is by far the best indicator I've used. Sturdy and easy to read, they've held up longer than any plastic indicators I've owned. I like the 2 strike/3 ball count especially. The dials also don't move as easy as other which helps in not loosing the counts.
Matthew M. Indian Trail, NC |
I've purchased many indicators trying to find the right one for me. I thought I only wanted to choose from options that recorded balls first, but this count order is easy for me to keep straight as it shows the count the same way I'd see it if my partner signaled the count to me. The part I like the most about this indicator is how thin it is compared to the plastic indicators. It's lightweight and is now the only indicator I will use. My only complaint would be that the numbers on the dials could "center" better, but they are easily read so it's not a problem for me. Overall, this is the BEST indicator on the market.
Frankie C. Seymour, CT |
While it’s a nice indicator, the bottom wheel is not as tight as the others. Not sure if it’s a defect or meant to be loose. The colors are nice and vibrant, feels good in the hand except for the loose end. May have to go back to my trusty black plastic versions.
Darrin O. Morganton, NC |
This is my go-to indicator. The 2 strikes and 3 balls count is very nice. The optic yellow dials and numbers are easy to read during the day and late evenings.
Kerry H. Booneville, MS |
Light weight, very visible, and fits nicely in the hand! Highly recommend.
Richard T. Chaffee, MO |
Best umpire indicator on the market. Looks good and very functional. Order a couple new ones every year.
Mitch R. Winston Salem, NC |
Had a Markwort indicator for over a decade and it finally broke. Thought this one would be similar. The metal is a lot thinner and doesn’t feel as well made as the Markwort but it will do. The neon dials are easier to see. Always easy shopping and fast shipping with Ump-Attire.com.
Simon F. Sunbury, VICTORIA |
Nice weight and size. The only negative is that the numbers wear off.
Michael S. Las Vegas, NV |
Positives - Neon dials, easier to see. Durable metal construction. Looks good. Negatives - Smaller than I realized which makes it slightly harder to manipulate with large hands. I’m in the desert southwest and metal actually gets pretty hot. Also, in hot and humid conditions, the metal is super slippery in your wet hands. I frequently drop it due to size and surface. If you have large hands or umpire in a hot climate, this is not a great option. I applied grip tape to it to minimize the problem.
Owen L. Brea, CA |
So much more durable than the plastic models. The optic yellow dials certainly help during night games as well.
Michael N. Chicago, IL |
Nice weight. The bright dials help at night.
J. W. Ayden, NC |
Love the weight and green dials.
Nathan D. Clearwater, FL |
I had this for a few years and is the only umpire indicator I use. Metal is definitely the best. This is durable and works in all types of weather. I like how thin it is and not like plastic that is bulky.
Jeffrey M. Moorpark, CA |
One of the better umpire indicators on the market. Fits nicely in my hand. After notching each dial where my fingers lay, I hardly need to look at it. I have 3 of them so I am never at a loss when I am ready to take the field as plate or base umpire.
Hamilton C. San Diego, CA |
This is a quality umpire indicator. The segmented clicks feel and sound solid making it easy to operate without looking. Over time, dirt from our hands causes friction and has occasionally rubbed off some of the black ink on a number. That's about the time I buy a new one. I work about 200 games per season and I like a new one every 18 months or so.
Perry Az St. Charles, MO |
Totally a great indicator. Easy to read at a quick glance. It doesn't indicate ball 4 or strike 3, which is great. It doesn't break or fill with dirt when dropped. My favorite!
John P. Camarillo, CA |
Great visabiltiy and tactility, never a doubt if I properly counted a pitch or out. Feels solid in the hand, lightweight yet sturdy. BUT, I have had to order at least 1, sometimes more over the course of a season. The ball/strike dials come loose or pop out after a bit of use. Also, doesn't help that sometimes I forget to take it out of my shirt pocket before changing, leading to it being dropped. All in all, still my favorite umpire indicator that I've used, and would 100% recommend it. Perfect if it was a bit more durable.
Dave M. New Fairfield, CT |
The other reviews are dead on. Sturdy, good hand feel, excellent visibility. It doesn't feel like the cheap plastic indicator that we've all tossed out. This is a solid umpire indicator.
Andrew Texas |
Like this umpire indicator much better than the plastic ones I've been using for years!!
Josh M. Chifley, ACT |
Indicator is small, durable and light weight. Awesome under light and can see everything easy! Really like this umpire indicator.
Blake C. Taylorville, IL |
This indicator is durable, comfortable, and simple. I like that strike 3, ball 4, and out 3 are not included, which allows umpires to avoid excess clicking. Although the steel reflects sunlight during some day games, I highly recommend this indicator.
Katie M. Youngsville, LA |
Love this indicator! I should have purchased it a long time ago. Fits great in my hand. Not bulky at all.
Mark M. , |
Nice feel and smooth operation. I much prefer the 3 ball/2 strike setup and easy to view colored dials.
Chris D. RI |
Great Product. Smooth mechanics. Love that it only has 2 strikes and 3 balls.
Brady Y. Kansas City, KS |
Favorite indicator ever! Runs smooth. Awesome visibility with the neon color.
Chris G. Lincoln, NE |
I love this indicator. I've used it for a couple years now and wont use anything else. Best on the market. This indicator feels very nice in the hand and mechanical workings are smooth.
Bradley M. Perryville, MD |
Good contrasting colors. Easy to read.
Jeff M. , Ga |
Works as described. Easy to see, light weight. Great value. A must have.
Jerry P. Porter , OK |
I've used this style indicator for several years and always get 2 day delivery from Ump-Attire.com!
Michael H. Lake Elsinore, CA |
This is a great umpire indicator. My favorite and easy to read at night. I notched the dials at zero and it impressed my fellow umpires so much that they asked me to do it to their indicators as well.
Chester G. AZ |
Yep, it works just as advertised.
Louis W. Mount Vernon, NY |
The clicker is lightweight and the dials are extremely smooth when compared to other clickers I have used in the past. The numbers on the indicator are also very visible even on fields that are poorly lit. I'd rate it a 10 out of 10.
David V. Fairfield, Maine |
This umpire indicator is totally awesome, it's going to be nice to be able to keep track of innings as well as ball and strikes and outs. Easier to see during night games.
Charles S. Lehigh Acres, FL |
LOVE this indicator! Light weight! Compact! The neon pops for night games.. A must have in you equipment bag!
Smitty Columbia Station, OH |
I just bought my second umpire indicator. I love the first, and the rating would have been 5 stars, but I have noted that the numerals are starting to wear off on the original, and it's only been a season or so in use. Still, it's easy to read, feels good in hand, and has clear stops on the reels.
Craig C. Saco, ME |
Excellent indicator. Easy to see in dim lighting.
Andrew C. Broadway, NC |
Awesome product! It's easy to read, easy to rotate, yet locks into every number! Great for when the lights come on! I had the plastic one and couldn't see it well at night, upgraded to this one and hate I didn't buy this one first!
Ian H. SPRINGDALE, AR |
Solid umpire indicator. Love the 2/3/2 format. No complaints at all!
Jacob P. Dallas, TX |
This indicator is umpire heaven: effortless to move, but still firm clicks, and well made!
Michael K. York, PA |
This umpire indicator is very visible and has easy turn dials with grooves so your fingers don't slip off the dials. The only minor flaw is when the indicator is moved around in your hand, the sun will reflect off of the casing and shine in your eyes. The optic yellow and 3 balls, 2 strikes, and 2 outs is what I like best about this indicator.
John F. Georgia |
The Product delivered exactly what I wanted. High visibility (the key issue) better than I expected. The bonus was the 2 strike 3 ball count that made it easier to use. Would highly recommend for the price and their service and delivery process was excellent. I have ordered other products from this site and equally satisfied.
Mike D. PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wi |
I love the bright color and 3-2 count. Fits in my hand easily and can see the numbers right away. Good job!
Donald B. Staten Island, NY |
I love that it goes to 3 balls / 2 strikes / 2 outs and that the innings dial has a 0 since I use it for runs. The yellow dials make the numbers easy to read. Also love that it's a traditional Strike then Ball configuration, unlike all the new indicators coming out. My only complaint is the shiny silver mirror surface will often blind me from sun reflection when I glance at it. We umpires are blind enough -- we don't need any help! Why can't the metal be painted black instead, and maybe even have a textured surface? I shouldn't have to apply sandpaper to the product. For this reason I prefer the black plastic indicators but keep these around as a backup in case they break.
Bubba C. Kingwood, TX |
The best clicker I have found because it is 3-2 and bright yellow numbers. First one I have seen. My partners are jealous. There are probably lots out there but this is the first I've see. Don't drop it everyone can see it on the ground.
Phil C. Palm Harbor, FL |
Product came with a few sharp edges that needed filing down, but this is an excellent indicator. We do a lot of night games and the white numbers would sometimes white-out with intense lighting. The yellow background helps with those issues. Love the 3-2 indicators with outs and innings. Thanks for a great product.
James L. Palm Coast, Fl |
Great price on this indicator!!!!
Russ D. San Jose, CA |
Solid. Feels good in the hand. Zeros out after 2 strikes, 3 balls, 2 outs (never realized what a nuisance 3 strike, 4 ball, 3 out counter was).
Wayne L. RENO, NV |
I've been using these for years and they are the best indicators I can find...
Heath M. San Diego , CA |
I purchased this indicator to try out the yellow/green background for evening games - we will see how it works in the coming few months. This indicator is light weight and functions well. I would expect it to last several long seasons of use.
Micchael C. West Hollywood, CA |
I'm still using my old indicators and haven't put these to use yet. They look good, were delivered promptly, and I can't imagine that I'll be disappointed with them.
Ben H. Saskatoon, SK |
Seems to be a solid indicator. The neon wheels with black numbers make it easy to see...let the season begin so I can check this out in action:)
Rob R. New Port Richey, FL |
Good indicator
Terry W. Louisville, KENTUCKY |
I like the feel of this umpire indicator, it's not too heavy.
Aaron L. Montgomery, AL |
These are hands down the best umpire indicators out there. Light, durable, easy to read, solid click. Every now and again I darken the numbers with a perm. marker. Last for years, unless you lose them as I do.
Lauri L. Loveland, CO |
Love my optic steel umpire indicator. Have had many umpires inquire where I got it. Fast delivery when I order from Ump-Attire.com all the time.
Daniel H. Minneola, FL |
Some of the wheels are hard to turn and will take some getting used to not having 4 balls, 3 strikes & 3 outs.
Zach Chicago, IL |
Metal is definitely better than plastic but I am not sure if the counter will last more than one season. It does feel cheaply made.
Jeff C. Irvine, CA |
A gear bargain. Lightweight, but very solid. I will buy another one on my next order as a backup. My only minor complaint, I wish it could be disassembled to allow for cleaning. I dropped mine and it took a while to get all the fine sand out.
Don A. Kearns, O |
I just bought 2 more. I like the fact it has the yellow wheels. Some of the fields I go to have horrible lighting. Also they are light weight. I have hated the plastic ones because they are too thick and these are nice and thin.
Alan C. Niceville, FL |
The best I have used! All indicators should zero out after 2 strikes and 3 balls!
David S. Apollo Beach, FL |
Best I've used in 18 years. Strong and reliable. I love the 2 strike return to zero as well as 3 balls return to zero. Less chances of forgetting to zero out. I bought 2 because I hate using anything else.
