Excellent value. These are easy to attach to your shirt and adjust. Plus in my opinion are comfortable to wear. Really gives a continuous neat look throughout a game.
Rich S. Bettendorf, IA |
I really liked these at first until the stainless steel fasteners started rusting staining my new shirts.
Quentin C. Shenandoah, VA |
I prefer this shirt stay to the full length. Thigh shirt stay does not inhibit running.
Phil M. Salisbury, MD |
Excellent product they work very well. No more untucked shirts!
Scott M. Torrance, CA |
Would give full 5 stars, except the shirt connectors could be a little stronger.
Yumiel N. Montréal, QC |
When I saw this, I knew it will make magic with my shirt.
Jayden M. Charlottetown, PEI |
Works well and keeps my shirt from coming up. The clasp is hard sometimes; I would like a gator clip option.
Matt S. Farmersville, TX |
Easy to use, holds shirt securely.
Jerry B. Chester, VA |
The closures are somewhat difficult to operate and can come free during wear due to not being the snap closures.
Nathan S. Edwardsburg, MI |
I saw someone else with these and decided to buy some for myself. They are comfortable, and they keep you looking professional while working.
Donald W. Westerville, OH |
Fantastic. I wear these to keep my basketball shirt tucked in. They are perfect. Keeps my shirt in place throughout the game. Sometimes I also use them for my dress shirts. Great product.
Jack H. Surprise, AZ |
Great product. Holds the shirt in place, providing a clean look just above the belt instead of a saggy shirt. The back of the shirt stays tucked in too.
Charles P. Greenville, KY |
These work great and are comfy. I’ve worn them under dress clothes and you can’t tell they are there.
Derek B. Louisiana |
Shirt stays are amazing as advertised. Will never umpire without them.
Eddie F Raleigh, NC |
Great product. Does a great job keeping my shirt tucked in. No complaints on my end.
John K. Lennox, SD |
Wonderful product. No worries about shirt coming untucked. Very comfortable, easy to use. You don’t even realize they are there.
Warren K. North Carolina |
Best ones I have used by far. Easy to install but sometimes I get the straps twisted or reversed. I use them on both plate and bases. Getting ready to order a second set.
Corey R. Oklahoma City, OK |
These work excellent. Must have!
Isaac M. Moro, OR |
Wow these are great! I’d recommend putting these on at home, or arriving a little earlier to allow you time to put them on, but when fastened they keep your uniform looking SHARP!
Matthew M. Indian Trail, NC |
These uniform shirt stays don't stay clasped as well as the others, but this is the best option when working the bases in a league that allows shorts during the summer. The Hero's Pride Footloop shirt stays are better when working the bases in pants, and the Plate-Pro shirt stays are definitely the best option behind the plate. I hated having to tuck my shirt in multiple times per game, so I now have all three of these options and they all do their job in the right situation.

Saying something works “As advertised”, seems cliche. However, these really work as advertised.
Ron P. Peoria, AZ |
I've been using these for 2 years now. When you have an extra-tall torso, it's difficult to keep the shirt tucked in. Since I've been using these, I've not had any problem (and the shirts we using in AZ are short). I always keep extra on hand because I had one clip break (after 2 years of usage) after a game. You never know when you'll need it. I highly recommend to anyone having trouble keeping the shirt in place.
Justin B. Fayetteville, AR |
I don't get on the field without wearing Neat Tucks! I have multiple sets. The clips shown on this picture work well with the regular umpire shirt but not well with a jacket. I use alligator clips when I wear a jacket. Both keep the shirt or jacket tucked in nicely!
Tracy P. Payson, UT |
I love these shirts stays. It took a little bit to get used to them, but I really love them. Keeps the shirt looking crisp while working the dish or the bases.
Dana H. Olivet, MI |
I'd give a five star once I get the hang of attaching them to my shirt. Once I get them attached they work well.
Blair C. Springdale, AR |
Awesome! Wore them today for the first time and not once did I have to deal with my shirt on 2 plates and 1 base. That has never happened before and what a difference it made in not even having to think about it! This is what I have needed! Simple and easy!
Curtis V. Fountain Valley, CA |
They really work. I even bought a pair for personal clothing use.
Rich Y. Palm Coast, FL |
There are better options that use snaps and have more than one attach point. These use the slide and are tougher to attach and really need to be done before shirt goes on (as instructed). Quality is good but again there are better options out there IMO that I will re-order.

UPDATED REVIEW: After receiving a replacement set free of charge from Ump-Attire.com, it appears the previous set I must have just gotten a bad egg from the bunch where the buckles had broken. The set I received seem to be much better and hold greatly. Gave them my first test run yesterday and did their job with no issues. Absolutely fantastic product I really love these things. Eventually I'd love to have a set for each of my shirts so I don't have to change them! If you struggle at all with your shirt tail, or shirt in general coming untucked (especially when doing plate work) I promise you these things will change your life and you will walk off the field looking just as good as you did walking on.
William (bill) S. Yuba City, CA |
Still trying to get them adjusted. Have kept my shirt tail locked in.
Robert T. Vancouver, WA |
Love these! They grip the shirt much tighter than the clip-on style shirt stays. I don't have to worry about the clasps coming loose, and my shirt coming out of my pants, while behind the plate. I also like having the straps around my thighs, instead of my feet. So comfortable. I don't even notice they're there. These are a must have, to keep that professional appearance on the field!
Bryan F. Port Angeles, WA |
This piece of gear is a must have for all sporting officials, they are made well and don't fall apart like other brands I have used in then past.
Gerald W. Rineyville, KY |
The Neat-Tucks hold my shirt in place but they don't hold the shirt snug and I guess my thighs are too small because I have them adjusted as tight as they will go but they still have slack in them, so I don't wear them much. I have some garters that I wore while I was active duty that work much better.
Gus R. Dallas, TX |
I've only worn these on the bases so don't know how they operate with all the gear on behind the plate. But on the bases I haven't had any issues with them. They've stayed on just fine. I like them since I am not a fan of something running all the way to my feet.
Gregor Delaware, OH |
Love these! Wearing them for basketball and shirt stays right where it is suppose to be throughout the game.
Riley C. Silver Lake, KS |
I love these! I now wear them for all sports I work! They make your uniform look sharp and fresh! They work under shorts or pants! A great add to an officials gear bag!
Hamilton C. San Diego, CA |
These straps and clasps are clever and comfortable but with a few issues. As an umpire and a referee, I have attempted to use them on 2 weekends and had mixed success. The main complaint is that the clasp attached to my jersey has come undone at times rendering it ineffective. The second difficulty is using it behind the plate as an umpire. Before dressing, I attach the straps to my shirt so that I can just connect the straps to my legs when I put the shirt on. Trouble is, the chest protector makes me so bulky that connecting them with plate gear on is a bit challenging. It can be done, but it's tricky. I'm hoping to get these things figured out because the concept is really good. If the connection to my jerseys works better in the future, I'll up my review to 4 or 5 stars.
Will R. Norwich, NY |
These things are a great buy. They do exactly as suggested and are barely noticeable. Definitely worth it if you could use some help with untucked shirts. Be sure to read the directions and attach them to the shirt first. This is pretty important.
Aaron Iowa |
These are the best option on the market. The clasps for gripping your shirt work better than any of the competition.
Rob P. Superior, WI |
I was skeptical about these at first but I bought them anyways. They work as advertised and I will never be without them again. I always struggled with untucked shirts but that will be a thing of the past. Amazing super easy to use product and you don't even notice that you're wearing them.
Chad B. Menands, NY |
I was looking for a solution to having my partner tuck me in due to having only one fully functioning hand and arm. This is perfect for even putting my chest protector on for the plate. Stay tucked and taught, if I can put these on a shirt with one hand anyone can. These are a must have item.
Mike M. Lynn, MA |
I have tried every device out there to keep my shirt tucked neatly in. I find Neat Tucks to be very functional. I would recommend a more efficient method of attaching to the shirt though.
Kevin C. WHITELAND, IN |
NEAT TUCKS are awesome; they do exactly what you want them to do.
Jon E. Ankeny, IA |
I've worn the Neat Tucks three times so far for a total of 5 games. I'm sold. I love never messing around with tucking your shirt in continually. You simply don't even think about it anymore. It was a little weird to have them on for about 10 minutes. Then it's out of your mind. You have to unhook them to change into or out of your plate gear...but that's adds seconds to the process. No big deal. Good product.
Michael M. Westfield, IN |
The best way to look professional and be comfortable! These work in the field and on the plate. As an umpire we already have enough gear around our waist and torso. Using another belt wasn't an option for me. These go on easy and come off easy to wash. I've worked about 20 games in these and can go 7 innings without ever adjusting my shirt. The straps are worn about mid thigh, so I would recommend compression shorts or tights. It makes it a bit more comfortable for me. A must have item!
Bobby S. Huntsville, AL |
Used these on a couple base games already. On the first game, I had to adjust them a couple times....but by my second base game I had them where they needed to be and they worked great. I can't tell they are there, unlike the other shirt stay products. There's nothing rubbing on my legs while I run, or anything under my foot as well. These are great. Would recommend.
Robert Danville, Va |
Tried them today on a base game. Had to play around with them for about 5 mins to get them adjusted right. After 2nd inning forgot I had them on. Comfortable and they hold your shirt tight.
