Purchased this cup after my Nutty Buddy wore out after a year of use. After wearing it twice, I'm convinced it's a solid upgrade. How does a cup wear out you might ask? The rubber gasket around the Nutty Buddy snaps into place like a piece of weather stripping around a window and after a year of normal wear and tear (going in and out of a jock) it was simply blown out and wouldn't stay in place. The rubber was worn in several places and the small tabs locking it in place had stopped holding. The rubber around the Diamond MMA cup is much more substantial and molded into the business area of the cup and I expect it to be much more durable.

As someone that is a bit on the heavy side (okay, well on the heavy side), I've always struggled with other cups due to their tendency to move. Switched from the Shock Doctor to the NuttyBuddy a few years ago. Wore it free floating. Last Saturday put on the Diamond MMA with jock strap for three high school games. Took a couple minutes to figure out the extra straps. Had it on all day, and is by far the most comfortable system I have ever worn. Not in a big hurry to try out its effectiveness, but when the day comes I will let you all know.

Well I have officially fallen in love with this cup. I have used the NuttyBuddy for the past 3 years and that was great. But this cup by far exceeds its expectations. I took one right to the family jewels and I didn't even flinch. Catcher and coach both asked if I was alright and needed time. My response "Lets play ball." This cup did its job. Jock is very comfortable stays in place. I am glad I made this purchase.
