The toggle switch has been redesigned and updated. The switch is absolutely more durable, as the switch has been shortened. Highly recommend this timer as your go-to for any sport requiring a countdown timing device.

Great timer but only concern is that I am afraid I might break the switch. Could be a little more durable. Wish it didn’t give you a fragile thought in your head. It does its job if there is no time at the facility you’re working at.

It's a great product but like most things, you need to treat it gently. I wish the switch was more substantial, but it works and is easy to set up and program for your sport.

Questions About This Product

Q: Are there updates/reprogramming to be done for previous RefSmart timers at accommodate the 8 sec batter be ready… also possibly the 150 second pitcher (initial time warming up) setting?
– Warren Bumpus
A:

The timers we have in-stock are updated to new NCAA timing rules. If you have a RefSmart timer already and would like to have it reprogrammed for the new 8 second rule, please see the RefSmart website directly. The updated or reprogrammed timers will not include a 150 second interval.
