Mizuno Ambition 3 All-Surface Black & White Mid-Cut Field Shoes

I am a baseball umpire in Japan. These shoes are not sold in Japan, so they are very valuable. Very comfortable to wear and grips well even on artificial grass.

Solid shoe. Lightweight and comfortable while also looking professional. In my experience a half size smaller than my normal shoe size fits better.

Great shoe that is easy to clean and maintain. Is sized about half size larger than expected but it did not change comfort. Love the aggressive sole.

These shoes fit to size perfectly, and the mid-cut version is a great addition to the product lineup. Like the Mizuno plate shoes, these clean up and polish quite nicely.

This shoe is for larger feet, there’s a lot of room in the toe box so the sizes must be correct. All in all, the lugs were great on grass/dirt while working the bases.

Great fitting, easy to care for shoe. Very comfortable on both dirt and grass and artificial turf. As a fast pitch umpire, these shoes are nice and comfortable yet light and sturdy enough to handle tournament weekends. They last for several seasons. The only down side is for us fast pitch umpires, there is a little too much white on them but nothing a black paint pen won't fix. Hoping Mizuno will release an all black mid cut shoe. As a military vet, I know with a little time and effort, you can turn these shoes in to a polishable and shiny shoe over the flat that is factory. They do clean easy with little water and a rag if you choose not to polish.
