I added this to my order on a whim since the price is only $20. I haven't had a chance to go over the instructions so it hasn't been used yet. Quality seems good though.

I am not pleased with this timer as I find it difficult to consistently reset timeframes and operate the device without losing the function being used at the time. I have not been able to determine how to turn it off to save battery life.
Ump-Attire.com Response
Turning the watch off does not save any battery life. The amount of energy to keep the watch on is so small, it can hardly be measured. Please be assured the battery life will not be affected by leaving the timer on.

This would be a great product but it did not come with directions.

Questions About This Product
Q: | Would you recommend this watch or the Robic 1000W for timing softball and baseball games? Which is easiest to use and will hold up? Thanks. – Martin Short |
A: | Both timers will keep time for softball & baseball games. The Robic 1000W is more hand shaped with the buttons on the top so it is easier to use. This Robic SC-522 features the Lock button which can be useful during movement. – Ty UnthankMarketing Specialist, HS & College Umpire |
