I have heard complaints about fast fading...after talking to umpire friends, it's recommended not to put these pants in the dryer when washing. ONLY HANG Dry works very well!

I fully recommend these pants for summer baseball. They breathe so much better than the regular poly-wool umpire pants do. For spring ball, I still wear the regular pants (poly-wool), but when the weather heats up I start to reach for these. They breathe well, dry well (rain or sweat) and you just feel cooler in these with every breeze. These pants tend to wear well, hold their color and look great - what's not to like?
