Perfect fit after watching the sizing video prior to ordering online (which is nice). Affords added protection I was looking for when I upgraded from All-Star. Ended up taking too many painful knee shots and a foul ball off the shin that left a mark. So I converted back to the Wilson. A1 all around. Ump Attire, your only stop shop for umpire gear and equipment. Price is right as well!

Shin guards are great. Cushioning is excellent.

Most comfortable shin guards I’ve worn. They stay in place, light weight and easy to move with. Love the maneuverability of some of the shield’s. Hardly feel when the ball hits my leg. Especially with fast pitch softball. Worth the money!

Questions About This Product

Q: How do these fit with the new New Balance mid plate shoes?
– Michael Jones
A:

A mid-cut umpire plate shoe will raise the resting position of the shin guard on your leg slightly when compared to a low-cut shoe. It is important to select the proper size umpire shin guard by measuring your leg with the plate shoes on as your starting point as demonstrated in our Fitting Room and Crew How To: Measure and Size Your Umpire Shin Guards.
